This Privacy Policy explains how MENSPOT collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit menspot.net, use the MENSPOT mobile app, create a customer account, shop for products, book an appointment or contact our team. The MENSPOT mobile app displays our website. This policy covers the website features accessed through the app.

The information collected depends on the features you use:

  • Customer accounts: your name, email address, account identifiers and the contact or address details you add to your profile. Our account provider also processes the information needed to authenticate your sign-in.
  • Orders: the products you buy, billing and delivery details, contact information, order value, payment status and information needed for delivery, returns or refunds. When you use an online payment method, the payment provider processes the payment details you submit.
  • Appointments: your name, contact details, chosen service, appointment date and time, and information you enter in the booking form.
  • Messages and marketing preferences: information you send through our contact form, email or other contact channels, together with newsletter subscriptions and communication preferences.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages and products viewed, and interactions with the website. These records can be created when the website is viewed inside the mobile app as well as in a browser.

Please provide only information relevant to your request, order or appointment. Do not send payment-card details or sensitive personal information through a general contact message.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to operate customer accounts, provide our website and app features, manage appointments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, process payments and refunds, and answer customer requests. We also use information to send service messages, maintain records, detect misuse or fraud, understand how our services are used, and improve the customer experience.

Where you subscribe to marketing, we use your contact information and preferences to send MENSPOT news and offers. You can unsubscribe using the instructions in a marketing message or contact us to update your preferences. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages needed to handle an order, appointment or account request.

4. Service providers and sharing

We share information with providers involved in delivering the features you use:

  • Shopify: hosts our online store and provides commerce and customer-account services. Shopify processes information about shopping activity, accounts and transactions. Some Shopify services also process information for their own purposes, as described in Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy.
  • Consentmo: provides our Privacy Request Center and processes your email address and IP address for identity verification and privacy-request handling on our behalf. See Consentmo's Privacy Policy for its data practices.
  • Acuity Scheduling: supports online appointment booking and processes the information entered in the booking flow. See the Squarespace Privacy Policy for information about Acuity's provider practices.
  • Payment and delivery providers: receive the information needed to process your selected payment method or deliver your order.
  • Communications and technical providers: help operate the website, deliver communications and support customers.
  • Analytics and advertising services: receive information as explained in the cookies and advertising section below.

Our store uses Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify combines information from interactions with our store with information from other Shopify merchants and Shopify services to provide enhanced services, including improving products, personalising shopping experiences and targeting advertising. Other merchants cannot access MENSPOT's customer data through this service. You can learn about Shopify's processing and exercise applicable rights to opt out, object or withdraw consent through Shopify's privacy portal.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal request, or where necessary to protect our customers, services and legal rights.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some support essential functions such as sign-in, shopping baskets, checkout and security. Others help measure website activity or advertising performance. Local storage also remembers preferences such as the website's light or dark appearance.

The storefront includes Shopify analytics and Meta advertising technology. These services can receive device identifiers and information about visits, product views and other shopping interactions. The information shared depends on the service, configuration and applicable privacy choices. Advertising providers may combine it with information from their own services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and review the privacy controls offered by the relevant provider. Blocking some cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout or booking features from working properly. Browser controls may operate differently when the website is displayed inside the mobile app.

You can also review advertising preferences in your Meta account and Shopify's privacy controls. Provider settings do not replace a request concerning the information MENSPOT holds about you.

6. Retention and account deletion

To request deletion of your MENSPOT customer account and its associated personal information, open our Privacy Request Center from the website or mobile app and choose Delete account. Enter the email address associated with your account, follow the verification link sent to that address, and confirm your deletion request.

After confirmation, your verified request is submitted for processing within 30 days. Deletion is not immediate. You do not need to call or email our support team to submit and confirm the request. Limited information may be retained where required by applicable law, including transaction records needed for accounting or tax obligations.

Personal information is retained for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of the services you use and applicable record-keeping requirements. Different records may need different retention periods. For example, records connected with a transaction may need to be retained for accounting, tax or legal obligations even after an account is deleted.

Deleting a MENSPOT customer account concerns the account and associated personal information held for MENSPOT. It is different from signing out, unsubscribing from marketing or removing the app from your device. Any information retained after a deletion request must be limited to what is required under applicable law.

Appointment booking information is stored in a separate service from your Shopify customer profile. Deleting a MENSPOT account does not itself delete a separate account you hold directly with Shopify, Shop or another provider.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict or object to certain uses, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also have a right to complain to a relevant data protection authority.

For questions about these rights or assistance with a privacy request, contact MENSPOT using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information. We will explain any legal reason that prevents us from fully carrying out a request.

8. International processing and security

Our store's Shopify data-hosting location is the United States. Our service providers operate internationally, so information may also be processed or stored in other countries outside Lebanon or your country of residence. Their privacy notices explain their processing arrangements. Applicable data-protection requirements continue to apply to transfers of personal information.

No online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account access information private and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

9. Children and third-party services

If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the information and the appropriate action.

Links to social networks, maps, payment services or other external websites may take you to services with their own privacy policies. This policy describes MENSPOT's handling of information; it does not replace those providers' notices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
